The three real estate special funds benefit from our longstanding global real estate expertise: SEB Americas REI, SEB Europe REI and SEB Asia REI – total return funds with a conservative level of risk – grant access to the world’s key real estate markets. Investors in these funds are advised by experienced fund managers. Reporting that meets institutional requirements is naturally an integral part of our service package. Two performance-related components of our management compensation system ensure an alignment of interests between investors and asset managers. All three special funds can be counted towards the real estate ratio for guarantee assets and do not have to be consolidated. This allows institutional investors to perform a customised global allocation of their real estate investments within a familiar legal framework while leveraging SEB Asset Management’s comprehensive expertise.
